About Summit Business Network

The best organizations don’t happen by accident.

At Summit Business Network, we believe business owners deserve a better way to build a business that supports the life they want.

Clarity with Purpose

We work with owners, executives, directors and teams who want more than short-term gains. They want clarity, consistency, and an organization they can be proud of, one that grows sustainably because it’s fundamentally sound.

Guided by Partnership

Whether you’re a mission-driven nonprofit, a hands-on entrepreneur, or a scaling leadership team, we’re here to help you strengthen the structure behind your success. That means more than just balancing books or making budgets. It means turning your numbers into insight, your processes into performance, and your vision into reality.

Built to Rise and Endure

We understand the pressure of leading because we’ve lived it. Summit was born from hard-earned experience across industries, roles, and seasons. We’ve built teams, restructured departments, and sat in the chair when things didn’t go as planned. That resilience and the empathy it taught us, drives everything we do.

Every part of your business is connected. Our support is too.

Why We Exist

We help you align the financial, operational, and leadership sides of your business, turning uncertainty and pressure into clearer decisions, stronger systems, and progress that lasts.

Most business owners are not failing because they lack effort. They are often trying to build something meaningful with incomplete guidance, disconnected support, and systems that no longer match the business they are becoming.

Summit exists to give owners a better way forward: integrated financial, operational, and leadership support built around how their business actually works.

How We Started

Summit Business Network was founded by Alicia Hatcher, a financial professional with a background that blends hands-on operations, accounting expertise, and strategic advisory work. Her career began in the restaurant industry, where she worked her way up through leadership roles, learning how strong systems, clear expectations, and mutual trust can shape a high-performing team. She didn’t do it alone, and it wasn’t always smooth, but the lessons stuck.

That operational grounding gave Alicia a different lens when she moved into the accounting world. With a degree in forensic accounting and nearly a decade of CFO experience, she’s worked with small businesses, nonprofits, and professional service firms to help them bring order to their financials, understand the story behind the numbers, and build systems that support long-term momentum.

For Scott Roudebush, the turning point came nearly 20 years ago with Good to Great by Jim Collins. It was a red pill moment, the book that completely changed how he saw work, leadership, and what makes organizations thrive. That foundation was sharpened by years of working as a Tier 1 supplier to Toyota, where he absorbed their culture of discipline and continuous improvement. Simon Sinek’s Start With Why and The Infinite Game reinforced the importance of purpose and long-term thinking, while Jocko Willink’s Extreme Ownership drove home the truth that leaders must take responsibility for everything in their world.

Those ideas became more than books or training sessions, they became a blueprint. They shaped how Scott approached strategy, how he coached leaders, and ultimately, how Summit itself was designed.

Summit was born from what Alicia and Scott saw over and over again: not bad leaders or bad businesses, but smart people under pressure, trying to do too much with too little structure and support.

We’ve made the same mistakes. We’ve seen what happens when things break. But we’ve also learned how to build smarter, lead steadier, and deliver results that last. Summit exists to share that experience and help others rise with it.

That combination is why Summit looks at the whole business, not just one isolated problem.

How We Work

At Summit, we begin by understanding how your business actually works: how money moves, how decisions get made, how work flows, and where pressure keeps showing up. Then we help align the support around those realities.

Our approach combines financial accuracy, operational experience, and strategic thinking, but more than that, it’s built on listening well, staying curious, and doing what we say we’ll do. You won’t get generic advice or overcomplicated reports. You’ll get a team that knows what it’s like to lead from the front, and works with you to build smarter, lead better, and make decisions you can stand behind.

Whether you need foundational support or executive-level strategy, we’ll meet you where you are and walk with you from there.

Our Commitment

Our relationships are not distant. We remain connected, responsive, and fully engaged because that’s what partnership means. You’ll work with a dedicated advisor who understands your business, follows through on the details, and helps you make smart, well-supported decisions.

Accuracy is non-negotiable. Strategy is built into everything we do. And innovation shows up in the way we solve problems, not in how loudly we talk about them. We don’t offer off-the-shelf fixes, we offer thoughtful, tailored solutions that meet real needs.

We earn trust by doing the work, honoring your goals, and showing up with honesty and consistency. That’s our commitment, and it’s what you can expect at every stage of your journey with Summit.
